Jan and Paul have been performing as a duo since they were students. They have a wide repertoire with an emphasis on traditional and contemporary folk music. The collection of songs they perform includes a selection of self-penned material.

Jan sings lead with guitar whilst Paul plays harmonica in a distinctive single reed style, as well as singing vocal harmonies. They are renowned for their close harmonies. Over the years the duo have played at a wide range of events and folk clubs around the UK and overseas.

They have also been residents of various folk clubs over the years including Aberdeen, Lancaster, Nottingham  and presently at their local club in Grimsby.  In this latter role, during the last year they have been the support act for artists including: Bob Fox; Kenny Spiers; Dan McKinnon; The John Ward Trio; and, most recently, Jez Lowe.
