Jan and Paul Ramsey

Performers of Traditional, Contemporary and Self-penned Folk Music

Jan sings with guitar whilst Paul plays harmonica in a distinctive single reed style, and sings vocal harmonies -they are particularly renowned for their close harmonies. Over the last four decades they have played at a wide range of events and folk clubs around the UK and internationally. They have  been residents of various folk clubs including ones at Aberdeen, Lancaster, Nottingham and presently at their local club in Grimsby. During the last year they have supported artists including: Bob Fox; Kenny Spiers; Dan McKinnon; The John Ward Trio; and, most recently, Jez Lowe.
